Norway, officially the Kingdom of Norway, is a country in north-west Europe. The country shares a long border with Sweden; it is also bordered by Finland and Russia to the north-east; in its south Norway borders the Skagerrak Strait across from Denmark. It shares maritime borders with Russia by the Barents sea, Greenland, Faroe Islands and Iceland by the Norwegian Sea, Sweden, Denmark and United Kingdom by the North Sea. It was the site of many battles during the Second Tiberium War including the capture of Jake McNeil, Michael McNeil's brother. By 2042, the country was classified as a Blue Zone and supporting GDI.
Tiberium Era[]
During the Second Tiberium War, many battles took place in Norway between GDI and Nod forces over the control of this country as a member of the Global Defence Initiative. Hammerfest was a target for Nod's armed forces, but GDI gained its control during a battle to save the base. Jake McNeil, the brother of Michael McNeil was captured by the Brotherhood in this area as GDI destroyed a railway bridge, preventing a train of disruptor crystals from getting away by Nod and also, Kane using three ICBMs to strike the Philadelphia from space. Norway was classified by 2042 as a Blue Zone.
Red Alert Era[]
During the Second World War, Norway was part of the Allied Forces and chosen to lead all of Europe's northern theatre of operations with a Mobile Command Center in Oslo with its counterpart in Madrid and the main headquarters in London. In Liability Elimination, the Allies knew about the abandoned truck that the Soviet Commander-in-Chief, Radik Gradenko had abandoned there since signing an execution order to any Soviet officer having plans to overthrow or assassinate Josef Stalin. The Soviet taskforce quickly went through the area, destroyed the truck to pieces with the information in their hands, the Allies failed to collect it for themselves and Gradenko is poisoned by Nadia Zelenkov's tea making procedures.
